JEWELRY STORAGE: BRACELET EDITION

jewelry storage, the cultivated one, bracelet storage

I've posted about jewelry storage before as you can see here and here, but today I am focusing on bracelets.  There are advantages and disadvantages to storing cuffs, bangles and bracelets.  One plus is that they don't get tangled but a minus is that they can be big and bulky.  Things like a pretty dish, special box are beautiful options, or you can do what I did and use a jewelry tree like the one pictured above from Urban Outfitters.  These are all great solutions, and as I always say whatever you do display it, it's too pretty to be in a drawer!  How do you display your bracelets?  I'm always on the look out for new ways to display my jewelry.

JEWELRY ENVY: IOSSELLIANI

Written By sitemp3 on Senin, 03 Oktober 2011 | 04.00

Oh Italy, how I love you!  The boys, the beaches, the wine, the art, the boys ;)  Another thing that I love about Italy is the jewelry team of Iosselliani. This jewelry line is made up of designers Roberta Paolucci and Paolo Giacomelli in Rome, Italy and thank God they came together because what they make is pure magic.  Their beautiful jewelry is influenced by Italian classic jewelry but in a way that is so new and modern.  The way that they fuse styles is dramatic and perfectly mismatched.  Now I just have to take a trip over there to find an Italian guy to give me one of those rings!

HOW TO MIX METALS: BRACELET EDITION

Written By sitemp3 on Minggu, 03 April 2011 | 10.18

I was told by more than one friend this past weekend that I am a hand talker, so wearing bracelets certainly does not go unnoticed on me.  Like rings I love to pile on bracelets.  Who are we kidding I love to pile on every kind of jewelry all at once, but if you are not a jewelry junky like myself but are looking to start to make a statement with some jewelry  I think bracelets is a good starting off point.  Bracelets aren't worn close to the face so to a jewelry novice they don't seem overwhelming.

Mixing metals is easily done on your wrists.  Like I said with rings as soon as you put 3 or more bracelets together no matter what color metal they are, they instantly "go" together.  A really easy way to start to mix metals in a delicate way is to pair a simple small gold bracelet with a silver watch.  It's that simple!  Give it a try, and like I always say jewelry is suppose to be fun, so go play!
