MUSTACIO MONDAY

As we all know I'm a bit obsessed with mustaches, so you can imagine how excited I was when I walked into the Chelsea Market last week and saw these beauties hanging throughout the place.  They are by photographer Dave Mead who traveled to Ancorage, Alaska for the 2009 Beard and Mustache Wolrd Championships and came away with the most amazing portraits.  If you live in the NYC area I recommemnd hitting up the exhibit or check them out online at davemead.bigcartel.com.

CALIFORNIA THE BEAUTIFUL

As much as I love New York my roots and heart will always lie with California.  I saw this great print from Amy Ruppel on Etsy which I plan on getting to add to my collection of California prints.  It reminds me of the drive up the west coast I did with my family a couple of years ago.  Below are some pictures of the redwoods on that trip.

STRAWBERRY SOUP
